The EMpreneur Solutions Metamorphosis
After experiencing difficulty starting her own business upon immigrating to Canada, making several mistakes in the process, Dr Atinuke founded EMpreneur Solutions, formerly called EM the Influencer. EMpreneur Solutions is a personalized business advisory service specializing in the empowerment of Canadian immigrants. Atinuke, the visionary founder, channels her over 10 years experience running her products and service based fashion businesses including EM Wigs towards supporting immigrants to thrive in the Canadian business ecosystem.
When COVID struck, Atinuke began a weekly series of uncovering hidden business ideas in various domains in the business landscape of Canada including the Healthcare and Real Estate sectors. At these events, she invited respected professionals from these sectors who uncovered hidden business ideas and this led to new businesses amongst her community.
Dr. Atinuke officially started accepting paying clients and has helped over 550 business owners cross several business hurdles and has supported some to obtain business grants. Her desire to see other immigrants succeed led her to single-handedly create a Free support community of 100+ Nigerian small business owners in the region of Waterloo who have recorded more business clarity, opportunities and progress. In late 2021, Atinuke took a maternity leave but could never turn away clients, so she offered advisory on volunteering basis.
Since 2020, Atinuke has won several awards and recognition for her service and business efforts both locally and Canada-wide. Some of the awards include: "2020 Mogulpreneur of the year" by Black Women Moguls International. "Top 100 black women to watch out by CIBWE in 2023 to mention a few.
After returning from maternity, in October 2023, the business saw over 80 immigrant businesses get legalized, taking their business to the next level due to Atinuke's push and education.
In February, we launched our first business book - Grant Mastery which is a guide to mastering the art of securing business grants. By July/August of the same year, we launched the 50 Easy & Must-Apply Grants book which is a compendium of grant opportunities suitable for small businesses in Canada. Both ebooks were well received and was a huge success.
We only just started, and we will not stop until all immigrant businesses are empowered to thrive
